Google's Expectation From Organic SEO

Google wants its search results to become more pragmatic, not for any political, social or even intellectual reason. Leading search engines such as Google, Yahoo and MSN have their own set of regulations - known as search engine compliancy - which they use to determine a site's relevancy based on the information it finds therein. To test the theory for yourself, visit Google and check out your listings for your main products and services. "The important thing to note is that when a company first gets listed on Google's first page, the traffic in the first two months goes up almost exponentially, and conversion rates also improve strongly. Organic search engine optimization uses some simple and ethical tricks to make your website or sites appeal to the algorithms and spiders used by Google and other major search engines. It seems to me that non-profits use the web in the way that works well with Google, at the least.

In organic SEO, small, simple changes can often make a big impact on your traffic. Another advantage of organic SEO is that it s not affected by ad blindness. But the same token what works today for organic SEO might not work tomorrow, but the nature of having to rank a diverse selection of websites means that it will be next to impossible to totally eliminate the effect of organic SEO without impacting the majority of your results. I hope that organic SEO will be around for a while.
